matutinal - [muh-TOOT-n-uhl] - adjective

Definition:
Relating to or occurring in the morning; early.

Usage:
I am much more productive after a matutinal bout of exercise; who needs coffee?

My dad used to like to use this word in reference to his "matutinal ablutions." Which meant splashing water on his face and/or showering.
